Supply Chain Intelligence

Navigate corridors others cannot see.

Most supply chains in the Congo Basin and East Africa are invisible to compliance frameworks. Fumba is being built to change that.

Market Context

A region of extraordinary resources and structural gaps.

The East African Great Lakes and Congo Basin holds more than 30% of the world's mineral reserves — and a fraction of its potential in global trade.

The Democratic Republic of Congo alone supplies over 70 percent of global cobalt and significant volumes of copper, coltan, and lithium — materials essential to the energy transition, advanced manufacturing, and US national security. The region also produces world-class coffee, cocoa, timber, and fisheries that supply global markets from London to Tokyo to New York.

Formal supply chain infrastructure — documentation, traceability, compliance verification — is chronically underdeveloped.

Producers with viable products lack the documentation that global buyers require. Buyers with capital and demand lack real-time visibility into producer operations, corridor security, and regulatory status. Both sides leave value on the table. Risk goes unpriced. Green Vibe Global exists to close that gap.

Regulatory & Geopolitical Drivers

Three structural forces accelerating demand.

Regulatory, geopolitical, and infrastructure forces are converging to make verified supply chain intelligence a commercial necessity — not an optional compliance layer.

Enforcement from July 2027
EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive

Applies to companies with 5,000+ employees and €1.5 billion turnover. Core obligation: risk-based human rights and environmental due diligence across global value chains. Cascades to smaller suppliers through contractual requirements. Companies sourcing from the Congo Basin and East Africa must demonstrate verified supply chain accountability or face regulatory and commercial exposure.

US Critical Minerals Strategy & the US-DRC Strategic Partnership

The United States is heavily import-dependent on critical minerals and China controls a significant share of DRC mining operations. The US-DRC Strategic Partnership Agreement signed December 2025 creates direct incentives for US companies to engage in DRC supply chains — and direct accountability obligations for how they do it. The DFC has deployed over $13 billion in African portfolio capital with specific commitments for DRC supply chain development.

Now
Regional Infrastructure Convergence

Mobile connectivity, digital payment infrastructure, and transport corridors including the Lobito Atlantic Railway are making real-time supply chain traceability operationally feasible for the first time. The infrastructure gap that kept formal buyers out of these corridors is narrowing. The compliance gap is not. That is where Green Vibe Global operates.

These forces do not resolve independently. They require an entity with operational presence in the region, regional expertise, and the ability to translate between informal producer reality and formal buyer requirements.

The Platform

Three categories of operational decision support.

Fumba is Green Vibe Global's supply chain intelligence platform — currently in development. When operational it will deliver three categories of intelligence output to procurement teams, compliance officers, and development finance institutions operating in East African and Congo Basin sourcing corridors.

Platform Status: In Development  ·  Pilot Programme: 2026

Fumba translates real-time corridor data into actionable intelligence across three operational categories.

01
Sourcing Viability Assessment
Should we source this commodity from this corridor this quarter?
Deliverable
Risk-weighted viability score covering security status, permit validity, transport route viability, regulatory compliance, and producer capability.
Use Case
Procurement teams evaluating new sourcing corridors. DFC investment officers assessing pre-investment risk.
02
Compliance Architecture
What documentation is required for our regulatory obligations?
Deliverable
Document checklist, process map, timeline, responsible parties, and gap analysis across EU CSDDD, EUDR, DFC due diligence requirements, and the US-DRC Strategic Partnership Agreement.
Use Case
Compliance officers preparing for EU audit. Procurement teams structuring DFC-backed supply chains.
03
Operational Briefing
What is the current operational status of this corridor, cooperative, or deposit?
Deliverable
Actor mapping, route status, logistics provider assessment, security update, and producer capability evaluation structured for immediate commercial decision-making.
Use Case
Ongoing monitoring of active supply chains. Rapid response to corridor disruption.
Data Architecture

Field intelligence infrastructure for opaque supply corridors.

Every output structured against verified field observations — not satellite feeds or published indices.

Fumba aggregates ground-truth data from producer cooperatives, logistics operators, border agents, and open-source intelligence feeds across the Congo Basin and East African Great Lakes region. Every intelligence output is structured against verified field observations.

The platform is built for low-bandwidth environments, document-poor contexts, and corridors where formal supply chain infrastructure does not yet exist.

Covered Commodities

Critical minerals, agricultural commodities, and natural resources.

Six commodity categories across the Congo Basin and East African Great Lakes — each with distinct sourcing corridors, regulatory exposure, and traceability requirements.

Initial coverage spans cobalt, copper, coltan, and lithium from DRC mining corridors, alongside coffee, cocoa, timber, and fisheries from Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, and the wider Great Lakes region. Coverage expands based on pilot partner priorities.

Commercial Model

Intelligence as a service for procurement teams and compliance officers.

Structured for institutions with active or prospective sourcing exposure to the Congo Basin and East African Great Lakes.

Fumba is offered as an annual subscription with per-report access for pilot participants. Pricing is structured for procurement teams, compliance officers, and development finance institutions with active sourcing exposure to the Congo Basin and East Africa. Pilot programme pricing available on request.
